Galaxy House is an expanding service that treats young people with demanding physical and emotional issues. You must be motivated and passionate about working with young people with mental health concerns, as the job can be physically and emotionally demanding as well as rewarding.The department is based in the grounds of the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and the service is QNIC accredited. We look after young people up to the age of eighteen years and are a twelve bedded service
We are looking for a candidate who have an excellent telephone and communication skills and are eager to join our Administration team at Galaxy House
The position is busy administration service-based role where no 2 days can be the same. You will need to work flexibly and apply a methodical approach to a varying workload. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
You will work alongside the Consultants, Doctors and Nurses to ensure our patients receive the best care possible, we are looking for candidates who will bring a positive approach to working environment.
Successful candidates must have excellent IT skills and experience working in a customer service or healthcare environment as you will be expected to use IT and communication equipment associated with call handling and data input. You should demonstrate high levels of personal commitment to facilitating the delivery of a patient focused service.
