Fleet Receptionist and Parts Controller

£12.31 per hour PAYE
37 hours per week
Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Nettleham, Lincolnshire LN2 2LT
Our client is seeing a front-of-house contact for the Fleet Maintenance Department. You'll be responsible for coordinating vehicle repair appointments, managing workshop stock and parts, scheduling pool/hire vehicles, and handling various administrative tasks such as invoice processing, data entry, and record keeping.
The ideal candidate will ideally have motor trade or vehicle parts experience, be IT-proficient, organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, a professional manner, and a commitment to customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity are essential.
Responsibilities:
Schedule vehicle repairs, MOTs, breakdown response
Maintain accurate records, invoices, and job costings
Manage parts inventory, including ordering and tracking deliveries
Support pool vehicle management and bookings
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments
Ensure compliance with H&S, COSHH, data protection, and safeguarding policies
Essentials:
Motor trade or vehicle spares (Desirable)
Word, Excel, Outlook (Essential)
Stock Control experience
Basic vehicle mechanical knowledge (Desirable), H&S regulations, invoicing/accounts
Communication, teamwork, initiative, decision-making, professional telephone manner
Full driving licence, data protection awareness
