We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Banking Manager / Treasury Manager to join our Swindon-based client on a permanent basis.
Salary: £55k salary + car allowance + bonus
Flexibility: Hybrid (3 days on-site)
In this key leadership role, you'll oversee a small team and manage the entire treasury function-including cashflow, payment processing, and banking relationships. You'll ensure financial operations are secure, efficient, and aligned with the business's commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities* Prepare weekly and monthly journals
* Lead monthly bank reconciliations
* Oversee timely, secure domestic and international payment processes
* Maintain bank accounts, signatories, and key relationships
* Ensure banking documentation (KYC, FATCA, mandates) is accurate and current
* Optimise working capital and reduce associated costs
* Manage relationships with card acquirers, payment providers, and cash handlers
* Oversee chargebacks, collections, and cashflow optimisation strategies
* Lead tenders/RFPs, manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting
* Identify emerging payment acceptance methods and maintain relationships with core banking partners
Candidate Profile

You'll be stepping into a dynamic, future-focused environment that values collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 2+ years PQE* Demonstrated treasury experience and strong commercial acumen* Exposure to operational transactions and understanding of financial processes* Confident with automation and efficiency tools* Strong communicator with great presentation and collaboration skills* Advanced Excel skills (including Macros) and strong IT proficiency
