Quarriers Riverview is recruiting part time Support Workers! Reach your full potential and join our Adult Short Breaks Service located in the idyllic Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir .
Your new role
We are seeking dedicated people who share Quarriers values and who can deliver effective support to people in their everyday lives. No two days are the same and thinking on your feet will help you build an understand and rapport with each person we support.
Being a Support Worker isn’t just a job it’s a chance to change someone’s life and help them live independently and achieve individual goals.
As a Support Worker you don’t have to bring previous experience or qualifications, but bringing your life skills and values as well as natural patience is always a good start. We will support you with training and give you the tools to flourish in your new role.
This is permanent opportunity offering part time hours between 24 - 30 hours per week. Shift patterns: 7am - 2pm & 2pm 9:30pm. Nightshift from 9.30pm to 7am. Nightshifts are paid at an enhanced rate of £12.98 from Midnight to 7am.
What you will need to bring to the role
- Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
- Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
- Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
- Good IT & communication skills.
- Due to the idyllic location of the service a driving licence is essential.
