Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver in Leicester for a temporary position. If you possess a valid driving license, have experience in the driving industry, and are looking to take on a new challenge, we would like to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.- Deliver goods to designated locations within specified timeframes, ensuring excellent customer service.- Safely load and unload goods, using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.- Conduct daily vehicle checks, ensuring any defects are reported immediately.- Complete accurate paperwork, including delivery notes and time sheets.- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is fit for purpose.- Collaborate with colleagues and customers, ensuring effective communication at all times.Qualifications:- Possession of a valid and unrestricted driving license, specifically for a 7.5-tonne vehicle (Category C1).- Prior experience in the driving industry, preferably as a 7.5 Tonne Driver.- Excellent understanding of road safety regulations and good driving practices.- Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.- Proven ability to work in a time-sensitive environment while maintaining attention to detail.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.- A positive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
