Base Location: West Family Hub, Greenside Lane, Droylsden, M43 7RA

The Role

Applications are invited for the post of Family Help Assistant within our Family Help teams.

In this role, you will provide low-level direct work with children and their families. You will provide practical support within the family home, and the local community to support Tameside families to achieve their best outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference for families and communities, while supporting the four locality Family Help Teams.

The successful candidate will be required to work the core hours between the times of 8:00 - 20:00.

About You

You will hold Level 2 qualifications including English and Maths and have previous experience of caring for other people (work based, voluntary or personal).

We are looking for candidates with good communication skills, ability to engage with parents and children, as well as understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding information.
