This is a Hyrbid Working role with a requirement to attend our London Farringdon office, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Planning and Partnerships, you will own, develop, improve and rationalise an integrated RMG strategy for the management and commercial development of marketplaces, re-sellers and external third-party integrators.
About the role
- Manage Marketplace and Resale relationships to grow consumer and OOH volumes to new and existing partners
- Identify RM product/proposition developments required to drive growth in Marketplace Resale channels; engage with the Product team/other internal stakeholders to explore feasibility
- Improve Royal Mail service visibility and route to market across channels.
- Support any business case/product delivery governance required in relation to Marketplace projects
- Robustly assess and qualify major commercial opportunities within marketplaces to ensure RMG progresses with the most profitable possible relationships and initiatives
- Continuously review and develop overarching commercial relationship, strategy, and policy for external 3PIs wanting to integrate with RMG, including Metapack, Sorted, and c..20 others
- Set, refine, and standardize commercial terms for engaging with these organizations and communicate rationale to RM and PFW Sales directly to customers’ partners
- Ensure that commercial terms and policies are fully aligned with the approach to Intersoft and other internal channels
- Provide effective leadership and direction to a direct report, fostering a high-performance culture through strong team management and clear strategic guidance
About you To truly excel in role, you will posess the necessary skills and experience listed below -
- Good understanding of the UK and international parcels market
- Proven expertise in developing marketplace and reseller strategies, including third-party integrations (3PIs), with a strong track record of driving online channel growth
- Skilled negotiator with extensive experience building strategic partnerships and interpreting complex commercial contracts
- Demonstrated success in leading people and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and drive change across business functions
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse and distil complex data to shape commercial strategy and priorities
- Highly self-driven and capable of operating independently with minimal direction
- Advanced project and process management capabilities
- Sound understanding of commercial, regulatory, and legal environment
