About the role:
We are looking for a Site Coordinator to join the team at Hartcliffe City Farm. The Site Coordinator will lead the maintenance and development of the Hartcliffe City Farm site and establish and maintain corporate and other volunteering groups. This exciting new role is suitable for someone with a wide range of practical and inter-personal skills who has a keen interest in food, farming and provision of community spaces and programmes.
About you:
You will be a practical and driven individual, with the interpersonal skills needed to manage a small team and support groups of volunteers. You will have strong organisational skills and a good understanding of health and safety. You will be confident completing maintenance tasks and undertaking basic animal husbandry (feeding, cleaning, housing) and be able to support and direct others in these areas.
About the farm:
We are a friendly and dedicated team working to provide a welcoming community space for local residents and education and wellbeing programs. Our beautiful 6-acre site comprises of a playful-barn and café, several gardens, a farmyard with a variety of animals, a flower farm and a number of buildings which are used for community activities. We are a public site, open 9-4 seven days a week.
