About the RoleAs a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping young asylum seekers settle into life in the UK. You'll offer day-to-day practical and emotional support, helping them develop independent living skills, access essential services, and feel part of a safe, inclusive community.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide 1:1 and group support to young people in supported accommodation

Assist with access to healthcare, education, legal services, and social integration

Work closely with social workers, housing officers, and other professionals

Advocate on behalf of young people to ensure their rights are upheld

Keep accurate records, risk assessments, and support plans
We're looking for someone who is:

Compassionate, resilient, and culturally aware

Experienced in working with vulnerable young people (desirable)

Knowledgeable about the asylum process and safeguarding procedures

An excellent communicator with a flexible, solution-focused approach

DBS-checked (or willing to undergo one)
