What you'll be doing:
· Planning and delivering engaging, practical Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
· Supporting students of all abilities to develop scientific knowledge, investigative skills, and critical thinking
· Creating a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom/laboratory environment that encourages curiosity and independent learning
· Collaborating with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to support cross-curricular learning and enrichment opportunities
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science)
- A passion for making Science accessible, exciting, and relevant for young people
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to differentiate effectively
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to a positive school culture
