Location: Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 4L
Daily Rate: £150 to £210 (Paid to Scale)
Start Date: 01/09/2025
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Long Term Futures is partnering with a one‑form entry primary school in Kings Heath, Birmingham, to appoint a Year 2 Teacher for a full-time, one-term placement starting in the autumn term. There is potential for extension or a longer-term position.
- One‑form entry: pupils receive close, personalised attention.
- Fully accessible single‑storey building with disabled facilities.
- Inclusive SEND support: high-quality teaching interventions and personalised adjustments, including one-page profiles and small-group or one-to-one support for pupils with complex needs.
- Strong use of restorative justice and emotion-coaching strategies to develop pupils' social and emotional skills.
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging Year 2 lessons.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress; report outcomes.
- Manage classroom behaviour positively and consistently.
- Work with a teaching assistant to support all learners, including those with SEN.
- Communicate effectively with parents, including hosting meetings.
- Differentiate resources and planning to meet diverse learner needs.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with completed ECT induction.
