Are you looking to embark on a new journey as an SEN Teaching Assistant this September? If so we want you to support an amazing year 7 student who suffers who is diagnosed with ADHD. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be liaising with educational professionals whist following safeguarding guidelines to help support your 1:1's academic growth.
SEN Teaching Assistant Duties:
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting materials to meet the student's needs.
- Implementing strategies to support the student's learning and social development.
- Facilitating communication between the student and their peers.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
