Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our successful Humanities department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students to explore and appreciate history.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop the curriculum.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
What Were Looking For
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in History or a related subject.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Enthusiasm for inspiring students and fostering a love of history.
