Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are currently seeking two dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive school in Easington. These roles involve providing both SEND support and general classroom assistance, offering you the opportunity to work across a broad and rewarding educational setting.
Role 1: SEND Teaching Assistant
- Support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement support plans
- Encourage inclusion and promote independence
Role 2: General Teaching Assistant
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Assist with classroom organisation and management
- Help pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged in learning
✅ We're Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of SEND or willingness to learn
Qualifications (Preferred but not essential):
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Relevant experience working with children with SEND
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Term-time only (No weekend work!)
