Summary
Are you looking for a practical, hands-on role with consistent weekday hours? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established local recycling company that’s committed to giving white goods a second life.
This is your chance to join a hardworking team making a real difference in reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
Duties:
• Unloading and sorting incoming white goods for assessment
• Inspecting appliances for visible damage or missing parts
• Testing electrical functionality using basic tools and equipment
• Carrying out minor repairs and part replacements where needed
• Dismantling non-repairable appliances for scrap or recycling
• Cleaning and preparing refurbished goods for resale or redistribution
• Safely moving heavy appliances using trolleys or lifting equipment
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience working with appliances or in a recycling/warehouse setting is a plus
• Confident using hand tools and comfortable with physical work
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Punctual, dependable, and eager to learn new skills
