A Vacancy at East London NHS Foundation Trust.


The post holder will join as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) for Newham CAMHS, working in partnership with the Associate Clinical Director (ACD) and General Manager (GM), to jointly lead on the delivery of the highest standards of care and services for Newham children and young people with mental health needs and their families/carers.

The post holder will contribute to the clinical, professional, strategic and partnership management of the service to ensure that the services offered are effective, evidence based, accessible and outcomes oriented. With SLT colleagues, the post holder will jointly bring together all component parts of the service to ensure robust patient safety, improved patient experience, positive and measurable outcomes and high quality and performance standards.

The post holder will be a senior CAMHS clinician and provide inspirational leadership to all non-medical CAMHS professionals in the service, working closely with other senior clinical and professional leads locally and across the Trust. They will hold an overview within the service of the balance and range of CAMHS interventions available, acting as a specialist resource and source of advice for multidisciplinary Clinical Team Leads.

In conjunction with the SLT, the post holder will develop service partnerships with other agencies, whole system care pathways, parent/carer and cyp participation forums, clinical and professional networks. They will proactively engage with key stakeholders, commissioners, participation leads and senior CAMHS staff to build a flexible, inclusive and effective system of service pathways, building relational resilience in the community and ensure child and families have equal opportunities to thrive. This will includeco-constructionwithsystem partners in Newhamin the development and redesign of services, the implementation of service changes and the delivery of efficiency savings where appropriate.

The post holder will be a member of the Children and Specialist Services Directorate Management Group. They will join other Deputy ACDs and ACDs Trust wide, as well as North East London wide, shared service development projects, quality assurance and quality improvement.
