We’re looking for a Social Value Manager to take ownership of implementing the ISS Social Value Plan across a key Government contract at a regional level.
This is a practical, delivery-focused role that offers a real opportunity to make a measurable impact - both within the contract and across the communities we serve.
Job Description
You’ll be responsible for ensuring regional social value commitments are met in line with customer expectations and ISS’s wider strategy, reporting against KPIs and driving forward meaningful initiatives.
The role will involve managing key partnerships, engaging internal and external stakeholders, and embedding a proactive approach to social value delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead from the front on a high-profile contract and play a key role in creating lasting community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a brand ambassador for ISS, representing the company in this flagship contract
Build and manage relationships with local schools, job centres, and charities to drive social value
Go beyond business as usual by engaging with the community through initiatives like CV advice, career fairs, and job offers
Promote ISS at local colleges and job centres, raising awareness of career opportunities
Champion social value by delivering and sharing extracurricular initiatives across ISS
Align social value activities with ISS strategy and team collaboration to ensure meaningful, practical implementation
Help establish ISS as a community-focused employer, contributing to why the contract was successfully won
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Clear experience in delivering social value initiatives with a focus on setting strong standards for others to follow
Understanding of the TOMs (Themes, Outcomes, Measures) framework
Able to translate strategy into practical, team-based implementation
Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and support others
Demonstrates strategic thinking and experience, regardless of company size
Skilled in managing, analysing, and reporting data from various sources
Years of experience are less important than impact and ability to lead by example
