Crynodeb
The appointee will have responsibility for the care of inpatients with gastrointestinal disease along with nine other colleagues and will provide outpatient clinics , including the specialist management of patients with Upper GI disease, general gastroenterology conditions and suspected UGI cancer. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy, and will provide training in these procedures, and will provide two endoscopy lists. The post holder may be required to work at either at the St. Georges main site, or at the community sites of Queen Mary Hospital, Roehampton, or the Nelson Hospital. The successful candidate will contribute to a Consultant-led on call rota for GI bleeding and weekend review of Gastroenterology and Liver inpatients.
