Crynodeb
Continuous Amphibious Readiness is one of the Royal Navy’s key outputs; as part of 47 Commando Raiding Group Royal Marines, 11 Squadron contributes to this in its development of amphibious equipment and in training amphibious troops in the skills required to project and sustain forces from the sea.
You will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnosis, maintaining, inspecting and crewing our Beach Recovery Vehicle (BRV), a specialised, amphibious battle tank conversion that is unique to Commando Forces. You will also be carrying out fault diagnosis of other Military vehicles as well as inspections, servicing and repairs in line with unit requirements, in order to deliver maximum vehicle fleet availability. To support your career development as a Vehicle Technician, we will provide you with the relevant funded training courses, some of which are residential.
