About the role
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to support the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring stock accuracy, efficient order handling, and maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Team Support:
Work collaboratively within the warehouse and production team to help achieve productivity, quality, and stock accuracy targets.
Stock, Deliveries, and Solar Kits:
Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch for installation teams and customers in a timely manner.
Check incoming stock, allocate it to the correct locations, and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
Ensure stock movements are accurately recorded before dispatch and safeguard against any unauthorised stock removal.
Assist in processing product returns in line with the RMA process.
Participate in stock takes as required
Systems and Processes:
Follow established procedures to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, packing, picking, and dispatch of products using the warehouse's computerised stock management system.
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and efficient, including supporting building and grounds upkeep.
Suggest improvements to warehouse layout or procedures to enhance productivity and stock accuracy.
Ensure vehicles, machinery, and equipment are kept in good working condition and report any issues when necessary.
Skills and Experience
Experience in a warehouse environment (Desirable)
Able to work as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing demands of the role.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Comfortable using IT systems with a willingness to learn stock management software.
