What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Manager at The Royal and Fortescue Hotel you must be confident in running all different aspects of hospitality, including restaurant , bar , host stand and reception.. This role would be a perfect opportunity for someone looking to work for an established luxury hotel chain whilst furthering their career in the hospitality industry.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Assist in the recruitment, management, training and development of the team.
Assist in the day-to-day running and management of the hotel.
Be an exceptional and professional ambassador for the hotel and the wider Brend Hotels group in all your business relationships.
Assist the General Manager, Deputy General Manager and Heads of Department to ensure that the customer service is at the forefront of all we do
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role as an Assistant Manager at The Royal and Fortescue Hotel you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
At least 2 years previous experience as an Assistant Manager in a similar establishment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication skills
The ability to motivate, inspire and train team members
A hands-on approach and desire to lead by example
A passion for delivering excellent customer service
The ability and confidence in running a service from the floor
A passionate and vibrant personality, who cares above and beyond for our guests and the team
Knowledge in the following areas. Management and Leadership. Problem solving. Reslynx or similar PMS. Resdiary and Zonal
