About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Team in the Faculty of Health.
The Clinical Liaison Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health community. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Administrator (Timetabling) to help support the delivery of our medical (BMBS) curriculum.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive and confidential administration, working with academic staff and professional services on the creation of the BMBS annual and weekly timetables for Years 1 and 2, and administrate room bookings for all years.
This is a part-time position working 18.5 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for a period of up to 12 months due to business demand. This can be worked as 2.5 days or 3 equal shorter days, with preferred working days being Monday-Wednesday. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth. The team has informal arrangements for partial remote working, and we are happy to discuss this with interested applicants.
For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate hybrid working, flexibility to be on-site will be expected depending on business needs.
For an informal discussion to find out more about the role then please contact Debby Brady, Senior Clinical Liaison Administrator (debby.brady@plymouth.ac.uk).
