  • Ensuring adequate resources are in place for outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA), including sourcing new software and materials.
  • Undertaking robust quality monitoring and quality improvement initiatives, including observations of teaching and learning and moderation.
  • Providing comprehensive quality reports to the college leadership team, informing the college self-assessment report (SAR) and quality improvement plan (QIP).
  • Leading the operationalisation of agreed quality improvement measures.
  • Operational Leadership:

  • Overseeing the production of informative, professional, and fit-for-purpose end-of-term newsletters.
  • Leading high-quality Celebration of Achievement events.
  • Under the direction of the Assistant Head - DSL and Learner Outcomes, you will also have some responsibility for moderating annual review paperwork and chairing annual review meetings.
  • Partnerships & Collaboration:
  • Developing strong partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Fostering strong relationships to ensure smooth collaboration with the residential team, operations team, and wider TDT (Teaching, Development, and Training) colleagues.
