Summary
Our long standing and well established client based in Andover, Hampshire is looking for a Management Accountant to join their friendly and vibrant team on a temporary basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will play a key part and be responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts together with annual financial accounts and budgets.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
• Raise and post journals as required including accruals and prepayments
• To be responsible for the analysis of P&L accounts
• To be responsible for the analysis of balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis
• VAT
• Production of the annual budget
• To produce in a timely manner accurate year end accounts
• To assist with the timely production of the year end statutory financial statements
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
• Studying towards an accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA
• Hands on experience in delivering high quality reporting
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise and plan effectively
• You will be comfortable to liaise with both external and internal parties
