Temporary 12 to 16 weeks, Full Time
We are looking for high level temporary support to help meet our production targets for the next 3 months. We would like to hear from you are if you have wiring experience in aerospace or defence cables or have an IPC 620 CIS/ CIT qualification. Please let us know your availability, when you could start and salary expectations in your application!
Our roles involve the manufacture of wiring harnesses to required standards for the defence, automotive and aerospace industries. We are looking for people with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and a positive attitude to temporarily join our team.
Hours:
07.45am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
07.45am -12.45pm Friday (1 Friday off every 4 weeks!)
Plus optional overtime available!

Main Responsibilities
• Build product to required standards in line with the production plan
• Work from manufacturing instructions and engineering drawings
• Set a good example in terms of time keeping, attendance, quality, productivity, conduct etc.
• Help and mentor other team members when required
• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in work areas and actively support any new housekeeping initiatives
• To carry out all tasks in accordance with Quality Manual and Health and Safety processes and procedures
• To support and effectively embrace changes to standards, policies, processes and products and positively adapt to change
• To interact and communicate with all other team members to ensure a professional and consistent environment is developed, maintained and enhanced
Experience / Skills / Attributes
• Experience of wiring/ cable manufacture or IPC 620 CIS /CIT qualification – essential
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to strict deadlines
• Able to work from detailed drawings or manufacturing instructions
• Use of general hand tools, wire strippers, soldering irons etc.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Flexible during times of change
