Summary
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a real difference every day? We’re looking for a dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our team and support the delivery of exceptional care under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients across our wards and departments. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you will assist with a wide range of clinical and personal care duties that directly support patient wellbeing and the smooth running of the ward.
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment, ensuring that equipment is prepared and ready for use, and that supplies are adequately stocked. Your role will also include recording patient observations and care activities accurately, contributing to the continuity and quality of care.
This is a hands-on role that requires empathy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. You will be expected to handle patients’ personal belongings with care, participate in audits or research activities where required, and uphold the Trust’s values in every interaction.
Whether you're supporting patients with their daily needs, preparing the ward for clinical activity, or contributing to service improvements, your work will make a meaningful difference every day.

We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
