This role will be a core position in our reception team, the first impression of YHA York, key in ensuring our guests' welcome is everything it should be! From supporting our Reception Manager in allocating bookings and admin, serving beautiful hot drinks at our cafe, ensuring our reception, cafe and bar is well kept and welcoming, setting up and cleaning down our conference rooms, to aiding the rest of the team, you will be integral in our guests' experience. This role will involve checking guests in, communicating orders through to our kitchen, cafe service, and housekeeping, as well as administrative duties, working with families, individuals, conferences, and a variety of groups. However, there is plenty for you to get stuck into from day one, including:Providing great customer service to all our customers, members and guestsMaintaining a welcoming space - keeping our reception area tidy and inviting for everyone who walks through our doorsWorking on reception, offering insights about the hostel and the local area.
