Job Description
Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client, a long-established and respected British manufacturer of high-performance wood finishes. With over 100 years of industry experience and a strong European presence, our client is part of a globally recognised group.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, supportive team as a Branch Supervisor in their Avonmouth, Bristol location. The role involves a mix of customer service, warehouse duties, stock management, and day-to-day support of the Branch Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Serve customers at the trade counter, over the phone, and by email
Accurately process sales orders using internal systems
Mix and colour-match wood finishes (oils, stains, lacquers)
Assist with stock control, including stock takes and replenishment
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised
Support telesales activity to grow local accounts
Follow health, safety, and quality procedures
Provide cover for the Branch Manager when required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Previous experience in a warehouse, trade counter, or retail environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable and proactive approach to day-to-day duties
