Location: Falmer, Brighton with regular travel across the Southern Water region.
Hours: Permanent, full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Responsibilities
As an Environmental Manager, you'll oversee complex environmental matters and drive sustainability, leading legal compliance and support delivery of improved environmental and sustainability outcomes
Your day to day will include:
-Ensures effective implementation and reporting of our environmental monitoring regime and audit programme.
-Collects and reports environmental sustainability data and ensures input into the Kier current reporting tools e.g. Rio.
-Manages and oversees environmental consultants/ specialists where required.
-Work to share best practice within the project, and the wider Kier business.
-Liaise with client, regulatory bodies, and subcontractors on matters of environmental management and sustainability.
-Reviews method statements and associated documents to ensure environmental compliance.
What are we looking for?
This Environmental Manager is great for you if you have:
-Proven lengthy experience working in an Environmental Management role within the construction industry
-Relevant degree / diploma in an environmental discipline or equivalent
-Member of a professional body (e.g. IEMA, CIWEM, CIWM etc)
-Full UK Driving Licence
