Teaching Assistant at St Paul's CofE Primary School & Nursery Salary: Surrey Pay S3.
Contract: Fixed Term / Permanent depending on experience. Hours: 8:30- 3:15 Monday to FridaySt Paul's CofE Primary School & Nursery wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant.The role will primarily be working 1to1 with one of our children to help them to be successful and support their readiness for school. In addition to the above we would like you to:Be able to work well with children ages 2 - 11Have a good standard in both English and MathsBe confident in handling children who struggle with social and emotional regulation as requiredBe willing to support children with intimate care needs as required, including nappy changingBe able to work flexibly as part of a teamShows initiative and is proactive in developing the learning of childrenSt Paul's CofE Primary School & Nursery is expanding to a primary school from September 2025 with some new school buildings and facilities. Our new purpose-built learning environment includes:A Nurture FarmForest SchoolFull Size Football Pitch Practical Room for DT and ScienceSpacious School GroundsOur provision includes:Nurture and ELSA provision Supportive school communityExperience-rich curriculumA community-focused NurseryStrong links to local secondary schools and St Paul's ChurchWe are an aspirational and values-led school, we are proud of our most recent Ofsted which noted: ‘Courage, compassion and community’ are the values at the heart of this inclusive school.
