Summary
Prior Consideration Applicants will be considered.Previous Applicants need not apply as applications are still under consideration.To commence September 2025 (or as soon as possible after once checks are complete.Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant 27.5 hours per week + Lunchtime Supervisor 2.5 hours per week39 weeks per year, term time.Salary Range: Teaching Assistant Grade 3, SCP 3-5 £15,429 - £16,427 per annum/Lunchtime Supervisor Grade 1 SCP 2 £1598 per annum.The Governing Body, staff and pupils of Tairgwaith Primary School wish to appoint an excellent and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with pupils throughout the 3-11 age range. This position may include some 1:1 support responsibility.
The Governors will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities:
• Enthusiasm and self motivation
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Good people skills with adults and children.
• The ability to work as part of a team and receive instruction under the direct supervision of the class teacher.
• Able to support strategies aimed to maximise pupil progress and well-being.
• Caring, flexible and approachable to pupils, staff and parents.
