A well-established veterinary practice in the Bamber Bridge area is seeking a passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team. This opportunity is perfect for a nurse who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and wants to help shape the growth and future of a thriving clinic.

You’ll work alongside a talented team of six vets, including a triple certificate holder, supported by experienced nurses, a strong support team, and a dedicated Practice Manager. The clinic is exceptionally well-equipped, offering access to digital X-ray, in-house lab, laparoscopy, endoscopy, dental suite with dental X-ray, TTA and patella kits, and capnography. There are also frequent opportunities to assist with orthopaedic and laparoscopic surgeries.

This practice works closely with a nearby 24-hour hospital and local branches, providing a broad clinical caseload and a supportive network to grow your skills. Whether you’re already an experienced RVN or newer to the role but eager and confident, this is an ideal environment to develop.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1–2 years of UK veterinary nursing experience, though applications from enthusiastic and motivated candidates at different stages of their nursing journey are welcomed. Clinical coaching experience is a plus but not required.

The Package Includes:

• Salary up to £33,000 depending on experience
5 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service)
• An additional ‘Day for You’ – a paid day off to spend as you choose
Health cash plan (includes dental, physio, optical)
24/7 private GP and counselling support
VDS and RCVS fees paid
CPD budget of £750 + 2 paid days, with certificate support available
• Interest-free Season Ticket Loan
Cycle to Work scheme
• Generous staff discounts on services and products

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering outstanding patient and client care
• Supporting surgical procedures and nurse consults
• Carrying out pre- and post-op care, inpatient monitoring, and medication checks
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
• Contributing to the smooth daily running of the practice

What We’re Looking For:

RCVS-registered RVN
• Confident in delivering high-quality clinical and client care
• A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Interest in supporting junior colleagues or developing coaching skills welcomed
