Summary
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our supported living service in Nottingham, supporting adults with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to adults with mental health conditions.
• Assist with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support service users in accessing the local community, attending appointments, and engaging in meaningful activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including care plans and daily notes.
• Adapt support plans and approaches in response to individuals' evolving needs.
• Manage and administer medication, ensuring accurate records are kept.
Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 months’ experience working in a similar role within mental health or supported living.
• Experience in supporting individuals who may present with challenging behaviour.
• Ligature Awareness training or experience working with self-harming behaviours (desirable)
• Experience with medication administration and moving and handling.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts.
