Position: Mini Bus Driver / School Mini Bus Driver
Location: Derbyshire / Leicestershire and Loughborough
Hours: Split shifts – 6:00 AM - 8:30 AM & 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM (Monday - Friday) Saturday 6AM – 8:30AM & 12-2:30PM (Term Time)
Salary: £15.13 per hour

Job Purpose for the successful Mini Bus / School Mini Bus Driver:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Minibus Driver to safely transport children to and from school while also providing high-quality care. The role involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of children aged 5-13.
Duties:
• Safely operate a 16 seater minibus, transporting children to and from school, adhering to all road safety regulations.
• Ensure all passengers are seated safely and wearing seatbelts.
• Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean and tidy minibus at all times.
Essential Requirements for the successful Mini Bus / School Mini Bus Driver:
• Valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (minibus category).
• Clean driving record with no major endorsements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, responsible, and caring attitude.
Desirable Skills for the successful Mini Bus / School Mini Bus Driver:
• Enhanced DBS certificate available on the update service, or willing to apply.
• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
