Crynodeb
We are looking for a highly skilled Press Brake Operator to work for our client based in Newark. Own transport is essential due to the location of the role.
Working hours are Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday, salary from £13.00ph to £15.00ph.
This is a temporary to permanent role.
You'll be responsible for folding parts to tight tolerances using press brakes, working from drawings and liaising with other departments (laser, welding, rolling) to ensure a smooth production flow.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate press brake machines
Interpret and work from detailed drawings
Fold a variety of steel components
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate measuring tools
Work efficiently to meet production deadlines without compromising quality, contribute to a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating a press brake in a fabrication or engineering setting
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow work instructions
High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
(Desirable) Forklift/crane experience – training provided if needed
