Crynodeb

Every year our 7,000 people from different cultures, nations and backgrounds care for over half a million people in Buckinghamshire and beyond. We now have an opportunity, following our current COO being appointed to the interim CEO role, to join our Trust Board as our Interim Chief Operating Officer and play a crucial leadership role in delivering the Trust’s vision of ‘Outstanding care, healthy communities and a great place to work.’ The Trust’s vision and mission is underpinned by our CARE values of Collaborate, Aspire, Respect and Enable, that help to define our beliefs and set expectations of how we behave as colleagues.

Our ambition is to move from good to outstanding in all areas of care. To ensure our future success, we require an experienced Interim Chief Operating Officer who is a compassionate leader and an ideas generator, who is committed to helping us achieve our ambitious plans for the future. This includes focusing on the core deliverables within the Trust, including delivery of our operational and financial plans, addressing cultural challenges in certain teams and continuing to develop the leadership of our clinical triumvirates, as well as working on the transformation of our services through digitisation and integration with partners.

As our Chief Operating Officer, you will harness the talent and commitment of our clinical and operational teams to enable us to explore how care can be delivered differently, across traditional boundaries. You will work closely as part of the clinical operations triumvirate with the Chief Nurse and Chief Medical Officer as well as wider Executive. An all-rounder with the intellectual capacity, creativity and innovation to influence across a wide range of different domains, you will contribute and participate in the development of the Trust Board and to the overall leadership of the Trust. You will uphold, safeguard and promote the organisation’s values, actively support the wellbeing of colleagues and advocate and embed a climate of safety to speak up.

Why colleagues think we are"a great place to work!"
