What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 with freedom to be creative


  • Planning lessons that stretch thinking and make learning memorable


  • Encouraging debate, analysis, reflection – and the occasional well-placed metaphor


  • Working in a school that values routines, clarity, and care – and actually sticks to them


  • Taking part in a rich wider life: school productions, reading groups, writing competitions


    What You’ll Need

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


    • Strong subject knowledge and love for the written word


      • Experience teaching Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 English

    • Classroom confidence and presence — students know when you mean business
