About the Role
The Family Time Service in Lincolnshire, currently have a vacancy based in Lincoln, for a Full time Family Time Supervisor to work 37 hours, flexibly over 5 days between the hours of 9.00am to 6.30pm to meet the needs of the Family Time Service. Some weekend working may be required this is completed on a rota basis.
The Team
The Family Time Service in Lincolnshire is a county wide service. There are 4 Family Time Co-ordinators, managed by a Practice Supervisor and Team Manager. Across the County there are 21 Family Time Workers, working across 8 centres, you will be line managed by the Co-ordinator for your locality.
The St Giles/Warren Family Centre team has 5 Family Time Workers in total working across both sites.
About You
The successful applicant will be required to supervise family time between children and their parents/family. You will need to demonstrate a clear awareness of safeguarding children. An accurate report is completed after each session, therefore good recording and IT skills are essential.
A natural communicator, you should be able to work in partnership with parents and other professionals to promote and model good quality family time. A good understanding of child development, attachment, separation and risk management would be a distinct advantage, as there is a clear expectation that you will promote the best interests of the child.
NVQ level 3 is required in Health and Social Care or related equivalent.
The role may require you to work across various locations, therefore the use of a car and a current clean driving license is essential for the role.
