We’re looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and nurturing setting in Bishop’s Stortford. This is a full-time, permanent role working 5 days a week, with varying shift hours to suit the needs of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5

  
  

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework

  
  

• Foster a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment

  
  

• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

  
  

• Observe and assess children’s progress and plan appropriate activities

  
  

• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and organised setting

  
  

• Work as part of a team to deliver a consistent and caring environment

  
  Requirements

  To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

    
    

  • Paediatric First Aid certificate (required)

    
    

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

    
    

  • A genuine passion for working with young children

    
    

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    
    

  • Ability to adapt to different age groups and routines

    
    Start Date

    This position is available immediately, but we’re happy to be flexible for the right candidate.
