This is an exciting opportunity for a primary care medical receptionist (Care-Navigator) based in Merthyr Tydfil.
We are a friendly GP practice situated adjacent to other healthcare providers in Keir Hardie Health Park. We are looking to recruit a self-motivated individual to join the practice team.
Previous experience of working within a healthcare environment would be beneficial. The GP practice can be a busy place and change on a daily basis and therefore this role will be challenging. The post holder will be booking appointments and dealing with patient queries therefore excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner is required. Experience of computer use is essential, as the post holder will be undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice.
This is a permanent position with working hours of 16 hours per week. The successful applicant is expected to work flexibly within the team. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
