Summary

Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are looking for Clinical Practice Educator to deliver training and education across the Care Directorate. About the Role Acorns provides care for babies, children and young people, who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, both in our hospices and in their homes. Our care teams are part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team delivering care packages that are tailored to each childs individual holistic needs. As Clinical Practice Educator, you will: Support the development and delivery of an education plan that supports Acorns strategy and workforce development Work with clinical teams to ensure clinical competency and skills development to support delivery of evidence-based care Develop, deliver and evaluate digital and face-to-face learning packages Act as a central point of contact to universities to enable student placements Maintain own clinical skills through identified learning opportunities Act as a resuscitation officer for Acorns About You Registered Healthcare Professional Experience of creating, delivering and evaluating clinical training activities using blended learning Knowledge of safeguarding children IT literate What We Offer £41,500 to £45,000 per annum 37.5 hours per week (job share applications are welcome) Travel between Acorns Hospices in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester Employee discounts from leading retailers Employee gym discount scheme Bike-to-Work scheme Generous contribution to group personal pension plan or continuation of current NHS pension scheme NHS pension scheme life assurance or Acorns group life assurance scheme Interviews are scheduled to be held on 2 September You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
