Crynodeb
Successful candidates will be appointed to a fixed-term contract at AfC Band 3 to support the completion of 200 clinical placement hours. This contract will have a maximum duration of six months, and the cost of the University programme will be fully covered by the NHS. Support people to improve and maintain their mental, physical, behavioural health and wellbeing To act as the patient's advocate and, by providing information and support, facilitate the patient's own choices in conjunction with carers and other agencies where relevant. To ensure respect is given to customs, values and spiritual beliefs of patients, carers and relatives To provide a high-quality customer service which complies with relevant legislation and NHS Employment check standards To provide a service that is tailored to meet the needs of the individual and to understand what our patients need and be adaptable and responsive Ensure all patient related information is treated sensitively and adhere to the principles of confidentiality at all times Demonstrate inter-personal skills that promote clarity, compassion, empathy, respect and trust To be honest and learn from mistakes, and help to create a no-blame culture were people feel able to share and learn from experiences together. Identify personal development needs that ensure acquisition of knowledge, skills and competency to undertake the care and treatment responsibilities assigned Improve the quality of care by helping to monitor peoples experience To work as part of a team demonstrating effective communication, and working collaboratively with colleagues inside and out of the department.
