Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and business-minded Business Development Executive to help grow Umi7 from a local favourite to a leading Asian fusion chain. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth, developing brand strategies, enhancing profitability, and expanding market presence both online and offline.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a branding strategy aligned with Umi7’s long-term vision
Drive local and digital marketing campaigns, partnerships, and influencer collaborations
Analyse sales data and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities
Identify and propose new revenue streams (e.g., meal kits, delivery platforms, events)
Build relationships with local businesses, food platforms (e.g. Uber Eats, Deliveroo), and suppliers
Work with the Director of Operations to plan new location expansions or franchising models
Help streamline operations for cost-efficiency and higher profit margins
Prepare monthly reports and business development proposals for review
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, branding, or restaurant marketing
Strong understanding of the food & beverage or hospitality sector
Ability to use digital tools for analytics, design, or social media management
Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness
Understanding of Pan-Asian food or fusion cuisine is a bonus
