Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef with experience in Asian cuisine to join our kitchen team. You will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, contributing to menu development, and maintaining excellent kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including Korean BBQ, Japanese Curry, katsu, ramen, and Thai curries, noodles, soup & salad.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards as per EHO guidelines
Maintain quality control and consistency in food presentation
Collaborate with the Director of Operations and kitchen team on service preparation
Monitor inventory and assist with stock ordering
Train and mentor junior staff (if applicable)
Support in kitchen cleaning, organisation, and shift prep
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of experience in a professional kitchen (Asian/Indian/Thai/Korean/Japanese preferred)
Understanding of Asian ingredients, spices, and cooking styles
Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or higher desirable)
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
