️ The Role
As our new Quantity Surveyor, you'll be an integral part of our commercial team, overseeing contract costs, managing client accounts, and supporting project delivery from tender to final account. Your input will be vital in helping us maintain strong financial performance while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting
- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control
- Estimating and Negotiating contract variations with clients and suppliers
- Oversee subcontractor payments, variations, and claims
- Liaise closely with project managers, design, and production teams
- Support bid preparation and contract reviews
✅ Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or manufacturing sectors
- Strong knowledge of NEC or JCT contract administration
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Familiarity with secondary steelwork or structural fabrication is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
