TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and nurturing nursery setting based in Chelmsford. This is a permanent position with immediate start available, though we are happy to be flexible for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:-
Supporting children’s learning and development through play and structured activities

Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Creating a safe, stimulating, and positive environment
-
Building strong, professional relationships with children, colleagues, and parents

Ensuring safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met
-
Monitoring and recording children’s progress and development
Requirements:-
A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Level 3 desirable)

Experience working within a nursery or early years setting

A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
-
A genuine passion for working with young children
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
