Summary


Ward 30 is a 22 bedded unit which consists of 15 Haematology beds and 8 Supportive Care beds.

There is a Day Unit attached to the ward were patients receive chemotherapy treatment and blood product support. All staff rotate through the unit and a nurse led clinic area.

We provide care for patients undergoing treatment for blood cancers and haematology conditions. We also provide support for patients with complex symptom management under the guidance of our Palliative Care Consultants.

We believe our staff are our greatest asset and support our ward team to develop and grow. This creates a great place to work and enables us to provide safe compassionate care.

Our ideal candidate will be caring, passionate and highly motivated to provide safe , innovative compassionate care. In return we will develop you and support you within our speciality. You must be willing to undertake chemotherapy training as part of your role.
