Location: Tamworth, West Midlands
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday – 07:00 to 15:30 and 10:00 to 18:30 (rotating shifts)

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Fitter to join a professional and well-equipped workshop in Tamworth. Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Service and repair a range of HGVs to DVSA and manufacturer standards
Carry out fault diagnostics using the latest equipment
Perform MOT preparations and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy
Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used
Work collaboratively within a team and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements for the HGV Technician Role / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Proven experience working on HGVs in a workshop or fleet setting
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 licence preferred)
Able to work independently and maintain high standards under pressure
