Macadams are a well-established family business with over 50 years in the breakdown industry.
Due to ever increasing work volumes we are now recruiting for the position of a Roadside Breakdown and Recovery technician.
The successful applicant will attend various vehicle breakdown scenarios in one of our specialized service vans with the aim to diagnose and repair the casualty vehicle at the roadside. Where this is not possible you will then seek to assist the customer in the next best solution for them, usually towing the casualty vehicle with our specialist towing equipment to their home address, local garage, place of safety or liaising with our Operations center to arrange for one of our recovery trucks to attend and assist with the vehicle recovery.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a company who pride ourselves on providing a quality service to all of the major breakdown organizations, their customers, the general public and even local authorities such as the Police and Highways England.
Due to the nature of the work undertaken, the successful applicant will need to pass the relevant vetting procedures.
