About the Role: As a Touring Warden, you’ll be the friendly face that helps create a great first impression—and the helping hand behind the scenes that keeps everything running smoothly. Your role is essential in delivering the high standards guests expect at a Verdant Leisure park.
Here’s what your day-to-day could include:
• Welcoming Guests – Checking in touring guests, providing Welcome Packs, answering questions, and ensuring they’re on the correct pitch for their stay.
• Pitch & Facilities Checks – Carrying out pre-arrival pitch inspections and ensuring the shower blocks and shared facilities are clean, stocked, and well maintained.
• Customer Support – Being on hand to assist with guest queries, departures, and promoting park activities and facilities in a friendly, professional manner.
• Grounds Maintenance – Mowing, trimming, and landscaping the touring areas to keep them looking clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Repairs & Upkeep – Performing light maintenance on touring facilities, including interiors, plumbing, and heating systems where required.
• Siting & Safety – Assisting with the siting and de-siting of caravans, handling connections safely, and keeping pathways and shared areas hazard-free.

About the Person: We’re after someone who puts people first, thrives in a customer-facing role, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to everything they do. You’ll be confident, approachable, and ready to roll up your sleeves to support the wider park team—no “that’s not my job” mindset here.

You’ll ideally have:
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role
• A passion for delivering great service
• Clear, confident communication skills
• A friendly, professional, and proactive approach
• The ability to stay organised and calm in a busy environment
